Emin Kiourktchian Tedtoev was born on November 22, 2004.
He comes from a family with a long musical tradition. He began his musical studies at the age of 6 with his mother, the pianist Larisa Tedtoeva and continued later at the Professional Conservatory of Music “Músico Ziryab” in Córdoba where he studied with Professor Ramón Cabanillas and later with Professor Luis Tomás. Despite his young age, he has performed numerous concerts in Andalusia and has participated in numerous festivals. He has also received lessons from renowned pianists, including Nikolai Demidenko, Elizabeth Leonskaja, Rena Shereshvskaya, Boris Berman, Vladimir Ovchinnikov, Claudio Martinez Mehner, Eldar Nebolsin and Evgeny Kissin.
He was the winner of numerous competitions in Spain. On May 11, 2018 he performed together with maestro Manuel Hernandez Silva and the Malaga Philharmonic performing Mozart’s Concerto No.19. In the summer of 2018 she participated in the international festival “Somerfestival Orpheus” in Vienna, receiving classes from Milena Mollova (student of Emil Gilels). In April 2019 he performed as a soloist with Beethoven’s Concerto No.3 at the “Victor Villegas” auditorium in Murcia under the direction of maestro Manuel Hernández Silva. In October 2019 (the day of the unification of Germany), he performed at the Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral) together with the New Philharmonie Hamburg with Beethoven’s Concerto No. 3. In November he made his debut in Russia, with the Vladicaucaso Philharmonic Orchestra (a subsidiary of the Mariinsky Orchestra) with the Grieg concerto. In February 2020 he performed with the Córdoba Orchestra (chosen as the best student of the conservatory) under the direction of Tobias Gossman, performing Grieg’s concerto again. He played with the famous “Kopelman Quartet” Brahms’ Quartet No. 2 at the “María Cristina” hall in Malaga. In April 2021, he won the XL National Competition for Young Pianists City of Albacete and that same year he was admitted to study at the “Reina Sofia” school in Madrid with teacher Milana Chernyavska. He won the 1st prize in the prestigious contest “Intercentros Melómano” with which he received many concerts throughout Spain (Vigo, Segovia, Alicante, Bilbao, Granada, etc…). In 2022, he played 2 times at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, performing Grieg’s concerto and months later, Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy. In September 2023, he participated in the “Play-Conducting” course in Paris with maestro Javier Perianes playing and conducting Beethoven’s Concerto No. 3 with the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris. In October 2023, he received the 3rd prize in the preliminary competition “14 ways to Dubai” in Barcelona, thanks to which he will participate in the contest in Dubai in February 2024. In November 2023 he won the “Frechilla-Zuloaga” contest in Valladolid, winning the 1st prize. He has a chamber music duo (Duo Amadeus) at the school where he studies, with violinist Alexis Hatch (Zakhar Bron’s student). They have performed in Ciudad Real, Málaga, Pamplona, Madrid…
