Born in Fountain Valley, California, Fiona Wu is a pianist known for her expressive artistry and thoughtful musicianship. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Piano Performance at The Juilliard School, studying with Professor Soyeon Kate Lee, after earning her Bachelor of Music from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music with Professor Angela Cheng, where she also minored in Computer Science.
Fiona has received top prizes in competitions across Asia and the United States, including the Asia Piano Open Competition, and has been a finalist at competitions in Japan, Taiwan, and the U.S. She has performed at major venues and festivals such as PianoTexas International Festival & Academy, the Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival, the Frost Chopin Academy, and the Sejong International Music Festival, as well as at The Juilliard School.
As a performer and educator, Fiona seeks to share music with depth, clarity, and sincerity.
She also serves as a Development Coordinator for the Spiritus Festival and has held leadership roles with the Back to BACH Project, reflecting her broader engagement in the musical community.
