Born in Carcassonne on December 27, 1996, Ulysse Le Beuze discovered the piano at the age of 5. He later joined the conservatory of Toulouse in Laurent Molinès’ piano class, where he earned his DEM in 2014 with unanimous distinction and the jury’s congratulations. The following year, he was accepted into the advanced program at the CRR de Paris in David Saudubray’s class, winning 1st prizes from both the jury and the public at the Alain Marinaro competition and the Inter-Club competition at the Halle aux grains in Toulouse.
Passionate about chamber music, he founded a piano/saxophone duo with his friend Maxime Bazerque. After being laureates of the Léopold Bellan international competition, they were admitted as artists by the Jeunes Talents association in 2019. They regularly perform in Paris, including at the Petit Palais and on the France Musique radio show “Génération France Musique, le live.” In addition to these activities, he participated in numerous piano masterclasses and received valuable advice from Denis Pascal, Emmanuel Strosser, Bernard d’Ascoli, and Anne Queffélec. Since 2022, Ulysse Le Beuze has been invited to perform at various festivals such as the Festival Chopin and Piano Passion in Paris, the Les Soirées du Castellet festival, the Autrement Classique festival in Briare, the Scarbo festival in Tours, and the Jeunes Talents festival in Cannes. The following year, he won 3rd prizes at the Les Virtuoses du Coeurs competition in Paris and the International Piano Competition of Mayenne. He also received support from the Meyer Foundation and the Fondation de France. After completing his Bachelor’s degree at the CNSMDP in Frank Braley and Haruko Ueda’s class, Ulysse Le Beuze obtained his Master’s degree with unanimous distinction in June 2022 in Roger Muraro and Isabelle Dubuis’ class. In January 2024, he has just been appointed a laureate of the Banque Populaire Foundation.
