Stanislav Korchagin was born on the 23d of July in 1993. He began to give concerts at the age of 13 and since 2011 has been studying under the guidance of Tatiana Zelikman at the Gnesin Russian Academy of music in Moscow..
Stanislav is a Prize-winner of numerous piano competitions including the Prokofiev international Piano Competition (2011), Moscow Music Festival “Virtuoso”(2013) , 2th prize at the All-Russian Piano competition in Krasnoyarsk (2022), 2th Prize and the Audience Price at the XXV International Scriabin Piano Competition in Italy ( 2023) and 3th prize and bronze medal at the XVII Tchaikovsky International piano competition (2023).
In 2016 Stanislav participated at the festival “Faces of ModernPianism” in St. Petersburg performing with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra.
In 2020 Stanislav was invited to give recitals in the “Kawai concert series” in the german cities of Dusseldorf, Krefeld, Langenberg.
He performed at the best concert halls of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yaroslavl such as: Great Hall of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory; Moscow International House of Music; The Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre (St. Petersburg); The Concert Hall of the Yaroslavl State Philharmonic; The Gnessins Russian Academy of Music; The Center of Pavel Slobodkin. Stanislav performs solo recitals and engages in chamber collaborations. He also played with orchestras such as The Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra under Z. Gugkaev, The Orchestra of The Yaroslavl State Philharmonic under A. Oselkov,the Russian National Orchestra (RNO) under J. Walker, The Stare Academy Symphony orchestra of Russia “Evgeniy Svetlanov” under A. Rubin.
Currently, Stanislav successfully combines concert activities with teaching at the Russian Gnesin Academy of Music in Moscow.
