Dominik Ilisz

The pianist Dominik Ilisz was born in 2003, he started his piano lessons at the age of 6 with Prof. Dr. Jambor Fekete Elisabeta at the Art high school in Oradea (Romania) and from the age of 12 he attended the piano courses at the Music University in Debrecen (Hungary) in the class of Prof. dr. Duffek Mihaly. In 2022 he became a student at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) in the class of Professor Christopher Hinterhuber. He took part in numerous master classes, such as:

Wojciech Świtała – Poland

Sonoro Interferențe – masterclass in Germany Horia Maxim – Romania,

Viniciu Moroianu – Romania, Elizabeth Sombart – France,

Jean-Claude Denervaud – Switzerland, Carmen Daniela Gililov – Germany,

Duffek Mihaly, Pless Attila and Eckhardt Gabor – Hungary.

1st Prize – International Competition for Instrumental Interpretation “Carl Filtsch”Sibiu – 2017 1st prize – Transylvanian International Piano Competition Brasov – 2017

1st Prize – International Piano Competition “Frederic Chopin” Bacau – 2019

As a soloist he has collaborated with the Oradea State Philharmonic, Râmnicu Vâlcea’s “Ion Dumitrescu” Philharmonic, the Brasov State Philharmonic, gave a recital at MUK Theater – Vienna, in Traunstein – Germany, at the Romanian Athenaeum and in The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania – Bucharest, and has also been invited to give a concert together with Radio Romania Orchestra. He has a Diploma of Excellence from Oradea City Hall, Resonance Romania Foundation, and Kiwanis Art Oradea. This year he played multiple chamber music / solo recital concerts in Vienna, Germany and in Greece, in such prestigious concerts halls like Thessaloniki Megaron Concert hall and Patras Philharmonic Hall.

In 2023 he won the Anny Felbermayer Fonds at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
