Contestant

Liya Wang started to play the piano when she was four years old. She is currently a student of Manchun Chen at the Central Conservatory of Music. She is studying Organ and Harpsichord with Fanxiu Shen at the Central Conservatory of Music.
She took part in the 18th Chopin International Competition Warsaw, the 71st ARD International Music Competition, where she achieved the top12 list, the 65th Ferruccio Busoni international piano competition, and the 13th Dublin international piano competition.
She has performed with the China Youth Symphony Orchestra and International Union Symphony Orchestra of Taipei, National Symphony of VietNam with conductors Yue Li, Hao Shen,Dong Quang Vinh and Kurt Sassmannshaus at halls like National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing and Carnegie Hall in New York.
She won prizes at 4th Hanoi International Piano Competition, Helen Taylor International Piano Competition, Gulangyu International Piano Competition, PRM International Piano Competition, 9th BOYA International Piano Competition. Also, she has won the 2018 Yamaha Asían Music Scholarship
