Yoav Sened was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 2004. He began studying piano at age 4with Ms. Carolyn Cook. He moved to Israel at age 9 and began studying with Ron Trachtman at the Israel Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv. Yoav has won prizes in several competitions in Israel, as well as 3rd prize in Bartok Piano competition in Graz, Austria. Yoav has participated in several international music festivals and seminars, including “Moscow Meets Friends”, Tel Hai International Master Classes, and Oxford Piano Festival. He has also participated in masterclasses with renowned international artists, such as: Nikolai Lugansky, Stephen Kovacevich, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Murray Perahia, Tatiana Zelikman and Elisso Virsaladze. He has played as soloist with several leading orchestras in Israel, including the Israeli Camerata Jerusalem, the Ra’anana Symphonette and the Haifa Symphony Orchestra. Today he studies with Professor Tomer Lev at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv.
