Guillermo began his piano studies at the age of seven and a half. At the age of eight he entered the Marbella Conservatory, completing the elementary degree in two years with Honors.  At the age of ten, he entered the Costa del Sol Professional Conservatory in Fuengirola, achieving the highest grade, being the youngest student in his class. He is currently in the sixth year of EEPP

He has received master classes from professionals such as Andrey Reznik, Michael Davidov, Paula Coronas, Ángel Sanzo, among others.

 At the age of 8 he won second prize in the First International Musical Competition Rotary Club Marbella. Category 8 to 13 years. – At the age of 9: Fourth prize in the Rotary Club Marbella International Music Competition. Category 8 to 13 years.At the age of 10: First prize in the Costa del Sol Conservatory Internal Competition. This award gave him the opportunity to play, with the Conservatory Orchestra, the first movement of Haydn’s concerto in D major. At the age of 11: First prize “Ex-aequo” at the IV Marbella International Music Competition ARTHUR RUBISTEIN INSTITUTE. Category: 11 to 14 years old. At the age of 12: Special Prize for the best performer from Malaga by the Fundación Musical de Málaga at the Malaga International Piano Festival. Special mention with cash prize in the X Contest of Young Performers of Jerez de la Frontera. Category up to 13 years old. First prize of the jury, audience prize and OFM prize in the I Young Performers competition city of Estepona. Category 8 to 13 years. The OFM award will give him the opportunity to participate as a soloist in the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra. Absolute prize “Centro de Estudios Triarte” by the Malaga Foundation at the Malaga International Piano Festival.  Invited by Vladimir Spivakov to the XVI Edition of the International Festival “Moscow Meets Friends” 2019 at the Bolshoi Theatre (Beethoven Hall). He gave a lecture-recital at the Central School attached to the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with the composer Alexander Rosenblatt. Second prize at the María Herrero International Piano Competition (Granada). Musicality Award at the María Herrero International Piano Competition (Granada). First prize in the International Piano Competition “City of Seville”. At the age of 13: Recital in the final of the “Young Performers City of Estepona” Competition. First prize at the Malaga International Piano Festival (FIPMA). Category up to 17 years old. Scholarship holder of the Ferrer-Salat Barcelona Foundation. Course 21/22 Seville Academy of Orchestral Studies (AEO). Academic year 21/22. At the age of 14 Schumann Concerto in A minor with the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra. October 8, 2021 Concert at Palacio de San Telmo, Seville. Concert Cultural Center – Teatro La Alcoholera San Pedro Alcántara (Marbella) Concert at Conservatorio Liceu (Barcelona). Ferrer-Salat Foundation. Mozart’s Concerto No. 23 with the Collegium Musicum CdS Orchestra First Prize Franz Liszt Center Piano Competition At the age of 15: Receives a Junior Lyceum Scholarship from the Ferrer-Salat Foundation. Academy of Orchestral Studies (Junta de Andalucía) Concerts: Concert with the Malaga Symphony Orchestra (conductor: Víctor Eloy López) – Piano Concerto in A minor – Mendelssohn María Cristina Hall (Málaga) Palacio de San Telmo (Seville) Cañada Blanch Foundation (Valencia) Francisco Villadensa Library (Almería) Awards: Extraordinary Prize for Professional Music Education to the Specialty of Piano (Junta de Andalucía) Grand Prix and Prize for the best performance of a work by M.Ponce at the Villahermosa International Piano Festival-Competition. At the age of 16 he began his studies of Bachelor in Piano Performance at the Oberlin Conservatory, Ohio, United States, thanks to the scholarships provided by the Malaga Foundation and the Conservatory itself, to study with Prof. Stanislav Ioudenitch, winner of the Van Cliburn Competition in 2001.
