Federico Gianello is a renowned and highly regarded concert pianist. He was awarded first prizes at the J. Brahms International Piano Competition in Poertschach, E. Grieg in Oslo, S. Stancic in Zagreb, Premi Principat de Andorra, Concurso Internacional de Piano Compositores d’Espana in Madrid, G.B. Viotti in Vercelli, Città di Pinerolo, Città di Marsala, and Premio A. Rendano in Rome.
He collaborates as a guest artist with the Orquestra Sinfonica de Madrid, Greiz Symphoniker, West Czech Symphony, JSO Weimar, HRT Philharmonic Orchestra in Zagreb, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica dell’Arena di Verona, GOG in Genoa, Orchestra da Camera di Padova e del Veneto. He performs often in chamber music formation with several renowned artists, such as violinists Noah Bendix-Balgley and Simone Bernardini.
He has made radio and television recordings for RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana, Bayerische Rundfunk, and Radio France.
He taught piano at the Musik Hochschule Franz Liszt in Weimar, he has become a professor at the N. Rota Conservatory in Monopoli, teaching piano and chamber music at the
