Elžbieta Liepa Dvarionaitė is one of the most prominent young generation Lithuanian pianists and a laureate of many international competitions. In June 2024, she was awarded second place at the Bechstein-Bruckner Competition in Linz, Austria, where the best nominated pianists from all Austrian universities of performing arts competed. In March 2022, Elžbieta received First Prize at the International Stasys Vainiūnas Piano Competition, and in February 2023, she won second place at the “Piano Neuchâtel – Val de Travers” international piano competition in Switzerland. E. L. Dvarionaitė has performed in Japan, France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria, Portugal, and the Czech Republic. She has also appeared as a soloist with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra, the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra, the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, as well as the Riga and Tallinn Chamber Orchestras and the Czech Virtuosi Brunensis Orchestra. She has participated in masterclasses with Y. Bronfman, E. Nebolsin, G. Gruzman, D. Bashkirov, P. Nersessian and others. In March 2018, the Mayor of Vilnius Remigijus Šimašius awarded her the prestigious Little St. Christopher Award for her musical achievements and contributions to the city’s cultural recognition. Elžbieta is currently studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in the class of Prof. Anna Malikova. She regularly performs on stages in Lithuania and abroad, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician.
