Andrey was born in 1995 in Sochi, Russia and started playing piano at the age of four. From 2009 to 2013 he studied at the Rostov Conservatory College. In 2017 he was an exchange student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (Glasgow, UK). In 2018 he graduated with honours from the Rostov State Conservatoire. Since 2019 he lives in Germany and studies at the Liszt School of Music Weimar in the class of Professor Balázs Szokolay, Professor Thomas Steinhöfel and Professor Hans-Christian Steinhöfel. In 2001 he was awarded the 2nd prize at the international festival “XXI Century Art” and in 2004 the first prize at the international competition festival “Music without Limits” in Druskininkai (Lithuania). In 2007 he won a regional competition for musicians of the city of Sochi. In 2006 he was included in the encyclopaedia “Gifted Children – Future of Russia” and in 2007 he received the diploma “Young Talents of Russia”. In 2012 he won the International Skavronsky Piano Competition “Inspiration”. In the same year he won the 1st prize at the international festival “Musica Classica”. In 2016 Andrey received the 2nd prize at the “10th Frederic Chopin International Piano Competition for Young Pianists” in Moscow. In the same year and in 2018 he received a scholarship from the Rostov State Conservatory. In 2018 he won the 3rd prize at the “International Piano Competition in Georgia”. In the same year he became a semi-finalist of the “10th Hamamatsu International Piano Competition”. In 2019 he was a semi-finalist at the “Shigeru Kawai Piano Competition Tokyo”. In 2020 he became a laureate of the “Piano Campus” Piano Competition 2020 in France. In 2020 he was awarded the Charlotte Krupp Scholarship and the Yehudi Menuhin “Live Music Now” – Weimar (Germany) In 2021 he participated on the main stage of XVIII International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw In 2022 he won the 3rd prize and the special prize for the best improvisation at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Darmstadt (Germany). Andrey has a busy concert schedule and takes part at festivals. He performed in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Japan, China and Russia. He worked with the Sochi Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Tula Philharmonic Orchestra, the Rostov Academic Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the F. Chopin Moscow State College of Music Performance, the Apollon Musagète Quartett. He took part in the workshops and master-classes by Vincenzo Bolzani, David Bismuth, Natalia Trull, Dmitry Bashkirov, Balázs Szokoláy, Alexander Kobrin, Dina Joffe, Imre Rohmann, Janusz Olejniczak, Nikolai Demidenko and Dang Thai Son.
