From a young age, he displayed exceptional musical talent and completed his early training with Galina Kotsyuba. Since 2021, he has studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Austria) under Prof. Dr. Milana Chernyavska. A scholar of the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein, Roman has won numerous international competitions, including Takamatsu (Japan), Bösendorfer USASU (Tempe, Arizona), and Robert Schumann (Düsseldorf). A major milestone was winning the gold medal and five special prizes at the Vladimir Horowitz International Piano Competition (Geneva) at just 18, launching his international career. He has appeared at Sommerliche Musiktage Hitzacker, DMZ Open Music Festival, Schumannfest Düsseldorf, Bachfest Leipzig, Bolzano Festival Bozen,and performed at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Konzerthaus and Musikverein Vienna, Salle Cortot Paris, Beethoven-Haus Bonn, KunsthausZürich, Victoria Hall Geneva, Dubai Opera, Aram Nuri Arts Center Goyang(South Korea), and more. Roman is a 2026 Fellowship recipient of the Borletti-Buitoni Trust.
