Elzbieta Liepa Dvarionaité

Elžbieta Liepa Dvarionaitė is one of the most prominent pianists of the young generation in Lithuania and a laureate of numerous international competitions. In June 2025, she was awarded Second Prize at the Málaga International Piano Competition in Spain. In 2024 she received Second Prize at the Bechstein-Bruckner Competition in Linz, Austria, where top nominees from all Austrian universities of performing arts competed. In March 2022, she won First Prize at the International Stasys Vainiūnas Piano Competition, and in February 2023, she was awarded Second Prize at the international “Piano Neuchâtel – Val de Travers” competition in Switzerland. Elžbieta has performed across Europe and Asia, including in Japan, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria, Portugal, and the Czech Republic. She has appeared as a soloist with the Baden Baden Philharmonie, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra, the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra, the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, as well as with chamber orchestras in Riga, Tallinn, and the Czech Virtuosi Brunensis. She has participated in masterclasses with Yefim Bronfman, Eldar Nebolsin, Grigory Gruzman, Dmitri Bashkirov, Pavel Nersessian, among others. In 2018, she received the prestigious Little St. Christopher Award from the Mayor of Vilnius, Remigijus Šimašius, for her artistic achievements and contributions to the city’s cultural life. Elžbieta is currently studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna under Professor Anna Malikova. She regularly performs across Lithuania and abroad, both as a soloist and a chamber musician. Education: 2007-2019 – The National M.K.Čiurlionis School of Arts with teachers Vaida Kirvelytė and Albina Šikšniūtė 2017-2019 frequent training with Prof. Mūza Rubackytė 2019-now bachelor and master studies in University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Prof. Anna Malikova. She regularly performs on stages in Lithuania and abroad, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician.
